About C.M.Rodriguez, Owner of SEO Royal Maven
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master’s degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin. I started my career developing websites 14 years ago and had the main burning question lots of website developers have. It’s built, but how do you get people to visit your website? Thus, I started researching and learning about SEO.
Back then, I don’t think SEO was as big as it is now. I read books on it, but I don’t recall as many websites out there to help understand the nuances of SEO. Since this question popped up in my head, I have earned a Masters’s degree in Advertising and started working as an SEO Specialist at a university. I have been working in the SEO field for 11 years now. Currently, I work as an SEO specialist for a research institute.
I enjoy working with SEO because it involves researching and understanding people, which I always find interesting. Understanding your audience is key to SEO. Plus, it’s continuous learning, which keeps you engaged with a growth mindset.
SEO is a constantly changing world, so you have to keep on learning the latest in SEO. There is also the task of learning the topic you are researching to help achieve SEO. It’s a keep on discovering mentality! There is no rest in the SEO world.
Today, I continue to study, research, and implement SEO daily. I look forward to creating my first blog and hearing from ya’ll on any questions or thoughts on the quest for understanding and implementing SEO.
